Course Content:
- Head-to-toe patient assessments
- Hemorrhage control techniques (direct pressure, tourniquets, wound packing)
- Maintaining a patient's airway using jaw thrust or head tilt chin lift
- Airway inspection and management using adjuncts
- Mechanical ventilation with bag valve mask and chest seals
- Circulatory system management and shock treatments
- Casualty evacuation procedures
This hands-on course emphasizes practical skills without relying on PowerPoint presentations. Participants will engage directly with the material, including detailed discussions on anatomy and physiology.
