Ladies range day class is a great way to introduce women to firearms in a comfortable, supportive, and educational environment.

1. Welcome & Introduction

2. Firearms Safety

• The Four Fundamental Safety Rules:

1. Treat every firearm as if it is loaded.

2. Never point a firearm at anything you are not willing to destroy.

3. Keep your finger off the trigger until your sights are on target and you are ready to shoot.

4. Be sure of your target and what is beyond it.

• Range Safety Protocols: Commands, handling, and etiquette.

3. Fundamentals of Shooting

• Stance: Proper body positioning.

• Grip: Correct hand placement on the firearm.

• Sight Alignment & Sight Picture: Focusing on the front sight and aligning with the target.

• Trigger Control: Smooth trigger pull and avoiding flinching.

• Breath Control: Techniques for steadying your aim.

• Follow-Through: Maintaining focus after the shot.

4. Hands-On Practice

• Dry Fire Practice: Practicing grip, stance, and trigger control without live ammunition.

• Live Fire Practice:

• Supervised shooting at the range.

• Starting with small calibers for beginners (e.g., .22 LR) and progressing as comfort and skill increase.

• Feedback & Adjustment: Instructors provide individual feedback.
